Bambi and her friends have had a long day of swimming in The Sapphire Pond, just running thrugh the Forest, and hiding in the Grand Oak while a storm raged outside. Now Bambi has trotted by herself to the favorite clearing of all animals.
Bambi stretches out, alone and happy, as hot sunshine pours onto her body. She thinks through the wonderful, exciting, day she has had, and deems it perfect. She closes her eyes and twists her head up, towards the sky, as the sun smiles down on her face. All in the world is right. She has never known a better feeling than the one he feels now.
Then Bambi hears the footsteps of another creature. The soft pit-pat noise is indistinct at first, but gets a bit louder. The footprints are light and graceful. Bambi twists her head slightly and sees...
